Leading up to the Holidays in 2024, there were a lot of Mama's expecting within my inner circle. Many of them had not yet had their babies, but were still pregnant around the Holidays. So for Baby Shower gifts & Christmas gifts for these special Mamas in my life, I decided to get a little creative. I painted each one of them a little hand painted sonogram ornament. You may be wondering how I retrieved these ornaments, well, that's where their husbands or parents came in handy. Most every Mama messages their family members a picture of the sonogram from their ultrasound appointment, or they have their sonogram hanging proudly on their fridge or framed on their nightstand. So I quickly retrieved the sonogram images and started painting! Each one of these sonograms takes me a couple hours to paint, but are well worth the time. I absolutely love studying the little details in God's tiny little babies he places & knits together in each Mama's womb. Once the sonogram is painted on the ornament, I take the time to write "Christmas 20XX" with the year they were within the expectant Mama's womb and give it plenty of dry time before packaging it up for the Mama! I find these make the perfect gift for the Holidays, Baby Showers, or a special gift to bring to the Mama right after she gave birth to her little bundle of joy!
