The 4th of July has always been a favorite holiday of mine. My family is what makes this holiday so special for me. Every year my whole family gathers at my parents house. We swim in the pool, grill steak & salmon, eat strawberry shortcake & set off fireworks!
This 4th of July is a little bitter sweet. It is my last 4th with all of us in Maine in the home I grew up in. My parents & sister are moving to Florida at the end of the Summer so we are planning one last shebang before the big move. We are going to miss their company, hosting skills & holiday gatherings in this beloved home. However, we are excited for their next chapter in the warm state of Florida. We can't wait to come visit you and attend all your hosted dinners in the years to come. So cheers to one last celebration in Maine & Happy 4th of July to all!
